Christmas Time

Yeps.

Christmas came. And went. Very quickly. Ha ha. Nah ok christmas was actally really nice. Had mixed feelings about this hole open your presents on the 24th at night. Whens santa spose to come? What happened to the milk and cookies? I kind of missed the excitment of going to bed and waking up really early and finding lots of presents under the tree and eating chocolate for breakfast.

But Danish christmas is very 'hyggelig' :) which means.. something like nice. With candles. And food.
Danish celebrations always involve food. So much food. Especially christmas time.

Ill tell you how cjrsitmas is celebrated in Denamrk.

Morning on 24th we tidyed and took the tree inside top decorate. Then we made sweets and chocolate with marcipan and this stuff called 'blød nought' i thought it sounded pretty rank.. blød. But it tastes like nutella. So that was fun. And i watched christmas cartoons. And yeps. So pretty much the hole day is preparing for the night time.

Then we ate duck or goose or some kind of bird and brown potatoes and this other stuff. Very danish.

And theres this game with this rice almond pudding and you got to find the hole armond. I didnt find it. Ha ha.

Then we went outside for a walk and let this baloon thing go was real prety.

Then finally presents!

I was disapointed that it didnt snow on christmas. But there was a bit of melted ice. Before christmas was rewally fun. We had lots and lots of snow.

I offically hate bike lights. Iv had soooo much drama with them. So far iv bought 3 sets of lights. First broke with my tooth. 2nd broke one night when i was biking home. Andthe 3rd wasnt actally a bike light. Just a torch and already it doesnt work. Last night i got all set to go and jumped on my bike. And bam. No back light. And my tourch doesnt work. So i had to stay home. And eat pineapple lumps. It was sad.

Yeps. But thats just life. :)

Ok. Well enjoy the sun! Soon ill be getting sun and youl be in winter. he he. ;)

This mornning i got up and looked out my window.. and it was white! Amd there was snow falling and it was real pretty. :) Well of course it was dark.. but nice.

It was really fun because both me and Kelsi didnt have 2nd class and we both have never seehn real snow so we went outside and played in the snow. I gt snow all down my back making my snow angal. Im wearing woolen tights, jeans 2 pears socks,gumboots, hat, scarf, thermal, singlet, woolen sweater, hoodie and a raincoat. And still cold. When i was sittig in the bustop waiting for my bus tonight i had some real misrable thoughts. I actally ha newver been as cold ever in my entire life. Minus 7 degrees! And tomorw night it will be even colder. i cant wait for my bike home from city tomorw night. Should be great. At least i have my torch taped on still.

Ja i made a snowman when i got home. But.. it turnsout its alot harder then i thought. I thought you kind of grabed a bit of snow and rolleed it until it got big. They do that on pingu. But hte first problem was making the ball. Its hard! So then in the end i just shoved a hole lot of snow onto a pile and made a sort of sandcastle. I think hes pretty anyway, Has charachter. Notice he does actally have arms. And 2 eyes and a mouth. So hes legit.

Thats my school in Dk. Waay dif from heights ha ha. First of all heights doesnt ever get snow. And the Gymnasium is one big buildind rather then lots of separate blocks. Which is good cuz its not cold. But then i dont actally go outside for sometimes 5 hours. But nice school. Lots of chairs.

(to dad) Do you remember that story with that boy and he gets snowflakes on his sleve and then gets a maganfying glass to look at the pretty flakes? Amd you thought it was funny that it was snowing and sunny at the same time. Well this is what it reminds me of. Cuz ever since that book iv wanted to see a real snoeflake. :)

I got so excited when i ´saw real snowflakes. I dont know why i was so surprised.. but thyr so pretty.

This is the sky only a couple of days ago! And now its snowing! crazy danish weather. Buit this was a nice day. We went on a lil picnic walk throught some woods to a beach. And we ate some danish christmas cakes and bread and coffiee and fruit.

And we sat i the bushes.

A while ago me and Kelsi planned to make Banoffee pie like they so in Lone Star. BUt we couldnt find condensed milk.. so we made NZ food!

Yep. So nice day! The sun was out. We had good food. And.. yep. Wasnt raining. Last night i gothome at 5 30... after my nice bike ride home. I couldnt fnd a light. So i taped on a torch to my bike with some sweet tape. Looks real tough now.

Ha ha. I think it looks nice.

And so that was real nice. Then i got up 4 hours later to go bake nz food with kelsi which we had planned about a month ago. real danish now :P

You probly know about the Climate thing i Copenhagen atm. Saw the opening concert was real nice. Lots of people. Theres this big oragne balæl thing and its got like thses eyes. tat blink.. ill try find photo.. really cool!

no i cant. But if m up next week ill take my camera.:) I really realy want to go ice skating! And theres a 25% chance we will have snow for christmas! Thats all i want for christmas.. snow:) Will be so nice.

Hasnt snowen on christmas for ages apparently. / 7 times in the last 200 years. As said kelss host mum. haha. Bit of statistics for yah. See i am learning stuff in denmark.

Our school has their own drink bottles. I thik thats cool. Rekon heihgts should look into getting some. And some fuse ball tables. I actally learn to pay it better the other day. Can kind of controll it. 'Ok thats a lie. But its bit of an art. some people are real good! Respect.

Got a parcel from my family.. tak! So nice comimg home all misrable and wet and finding a huge parcel from my parents. ha ha.

Cornflakes and such. Part 2.

Cornflakes and such.

Yeh. So. I just got home. After a nice bike ride from the city. Well it was raining. And windy. And cold. And dark. But nice.. Now thasts ts over. When i saw the mensdtrup  sign... i was so happy. I cyled my little heart out. Now whe i walk, mylegs sort of capssaple a bit.

And now i thyink i wil finished this tomorw. Cuz suddenly i relly tired.

Æbleskivers ;)

I just ate some æbleskivers.
Directly translated it means 'apple slices' but actally its not a slice. Or an apple. Big danish lie. Maybe some danish prson could explain it to me? ;) You eat them with jam and sugar and sometimes sryup. I think thyr a little over rated really... thyr just pancaky puff balls deep fried in fat pretty much. But thyr fun to eat i guess ;)

Ja. uhhh so christmas celebrations have officially started! Well in our house it has. Yesterday we put up the tree outside and me and pare took over an hour trying to put the lights on it. Was a mission. But its finally done! And when my camera is fixed ill take a photo. And we baked lots of cakes and cookies too. I made Afgans... cuz thyr new zealand. But i completly forgot about htem aand an hour later i went into the jkitchenj and bam! some nicely burnt Afghans:) But i avnt actally told anyone thyr burnt... Just chucked a hole lot of icing on them. So ssh.

Oviouly not my afghan. Mine wernt as pretty. And slightly black. Haha bt my hosts thought it was funny that i used cornflakes in them cuz i eat cornflakes all the time... breakfast, afterschool, dinner sometimes if it looks feist. So now i can eat cornflakes as a sweet too :) naw.


uh yeh sooo its getting cold. Snow? Maybe. Hopefully snow. Christmas is here soon which is really crazy. The last 4 months have gone soo quick... exactly four months today! Naw anerversary day. And its nice i can have conversations in danish now! Simple conversations... but still its better then just jeg spiser... but the language confusions can be very funny sometimes :P or just embaressing.

Like today finally i gt the letters from the letterbox after half an hour of trying to understand what Farmor wanted me to do. So funny. In the end she just chucked a letter at my face and pointed towards the driveway and mined out opening the letter box and taking the letters out. Honestly think it wouldhave been much easyer for her to do it herself. Made me laugh. Actaly.

Oo i was in uhh downtown Menstrup -hehe , today and saw Juno, my favourite movie. So i bought it. It cost 100 krone, but its definlty worth it. So now i dont even need to go out. I can watch Juno instead.Aw im so anti social. Its great.

Yeeh i cant actally think of anymore things to talk about.. Ohh well we are still swimming at the beach every sunday. Getting pretty chilly though. And i loosing my kiwi slang :( So ill come back sounding all homo and stuff. hahaah ahhh and im getting organised. I even have a planner so i dont forget anything. Todays the emptyest day iv had in a while.. classes from 8- 11 25. Then nothing! So i think i will make my english assignment now. Cuz i have no exuses not to do it... the 'im an exchange student' thing doesnt work. =P

Oh yeh and it was the school party on friday. Was fun. yeeh.

I went for a bike ride around the loop thing where i got lost ages ago. There was a nice sun set too... at 4 in the afternoon.. hahaah.

Rain and Clouds.

No ok not another post about the weather. Its funny though, i never used to have much opinon about the weather, but now im generally intersted in talking about it. Sad. It was actally sunny for 2 days this week. Think maybe at least 2 or 3 hours of sun! Maede mne real happy.

But yeh. Yestersay i went to Tiviloi, its like this old old amusment park. Maybe one of oldest? But them i dont really know. But its definlty realy nice! Sawq this show called Mama Marfia. Cuz afs had extra tikets so didnt have to pay to get in. real nice cuz Tiviloi is expensive i think. But yeh it was really nice! Irt was all decorated for critmsa and there were heaps of lil shops and aww i had the best ice cream! i dunt even no why.. it was like 5 degrees andi was eating ice cream. haha. but it wass yummy.

Then theexcange kids stayed in KPH. And then i jumoped onm y train back to næstved and had sopme drins with some Italians and a Brazilian. Was nice. Then went to a classmates birthday thing and ended up climbing some hill thrugh some bushes at 3 or 4 in the morning. Git some nice scars now. And very dirty gumboots. =)

Yeh so whats new? Well i can almost play a song on the guitar. I can play a bt of a sog anyway. My strumming sucks. But iom getting better! of course. ok im really hungry. Cornflakes break.

Welcome to denmark hilary. Thanks. I love denmark and its shitty weather. Really i do.

No but its not actally that bad. Bit over dramatic. But really the weather is raewlly bad atm and apparenlæty will get alot worse. So make the most of positive degreees! But i am really excited for when the ice skating thing is put up in Næstved=) I want to go everyday until i can ice skate! hahaha thats the plan anyway. And ice skate iun the rain and snow and the sun that comes out every two weeks for half an hour. I actally look forward to that so much. Last time the sun came out was on sunday and i ran outside in shorts and a t shirt to try expose my poor sun deprived skin to the sun. But lasted abot 30 seconds til i had to go in for shoes and jackets. hahaah. Then i swang on the swing until it went aaway again. Was real nice. So appriate the sun!

5. Fall off waiting for a car outside the Menstrup shop. was kind of embaressing. At last everyone is kind of old out there.

And had a really nice birthday last thrsday. Doind actally make anything for my birthday. But thats allright, my host family made it real nice for me. They got me a 'Kage pige' thats a man made out of danish pastery. Its spose to be for lil kids birthday parties... haa but it was real yum. =P Very danish. uhh and yeh. Jeg spiste meget meget kage. haah.

This last month has been lots of bad stuff but then lots f good stuff of course too!

Bad stuff..

. got a fine for 720 krone for a libary book.

. didnt see the sun for 2 weeks

. rained ALOT

. spent way too much money on tikets and food

. lost my phone in copenhagen

. broke my camera

. got lost alot

. found out i definlty dont have the right cothes for danish winter

. found out i have no money to get the right clothes for danish winter

. broke my nails bowling. haha

. havnt been allowed oout at all

Yeeh.

But good stuff.

. made sad eyes at the libarian and got my fine cancelled

. sun came out yesterday!

. hasnt rained this weekend

. starting to bring my own rugbrød

. found my phone at the movies

. cameras still broken, but its not my fault at least. haha.

. got lost, byut always managed to find my way. eventally

. got to go out finally

. started learning guitar and piano and yoga

. got 2 new skipping ropes

uh.

today, i was at kelsis cuz my bus didnt go for 2 hours, so i tryed walæking into town, nut it was dark, and i thought i was going the right way, but turns out i fully wasnt cuz i was in the middle of no where in the dark. So i just ran and ran and ran. Until finnally i got to the golf caourse which is about 10 km from my house and so i ran real fast and got to the last roundabout thats 6 km from my house and stopped at the bus shelter cuz i was so so tired. And then! My bus! Went past me. and stopped! so i gotta jump on. i was sooo happy! And so after running for almost an hour i was finally home. was real nice. So i got a big bowl of cornflakes. mmm.

hahaha aw man i struggle through life. its great.

I made dinner!

This is a big step in my life, for th first time.. i made dinner! All by myself=) haah i dont think it was very nice 4 my family thou.. cuz everytime thye offered help id cut them down completly in a maybe no so nice way. Buut in the end it was sweet! they enjoyedit. or they were real nice about it anyway haha. i made chicken fillets with paprika and chilli and whatewver other things i could find in the pantry. I started off with a recipe, but i didnt ewnd up using it... haah. but it was sweet! im pretty proud of myself tht everything got eaten!
'Buutt .. i made fudge biscuit too! Itwas a mission tryna find coco in denmarkk.. looked in like evey shop. then i came home and was like *why does denmark not sell coco! and it turned out there was some chilling in the pantry. haha. so i got biscuits and made fudge biscuit with my sis. was sweet. i ae like 3 pices cuz i missed that stúff so much. sorta considering going down and geting more right now. maybe...

This morning we were talking about swimming and Christian was like how come yoiu never take me? and so we jumped in the car and went to the beach 4 a early morning 'dip'. Hahaha me and Johannas went in and out causl as but christian was jumping and yelling it was funny! he is soft. On sunday me and Johnnas took the moter bike .. just in togs and shorts at 10 at night haha. so it was super cold and super dark! it was fun. thgen we camped at the beach and drunk tea. and ate chcolate. was sweet.

last night FLIIGHT OF THE CONCORDS was on tv! so i made everyone who was home watch it! i was the only one craking up haah. No one appriates nz humor. crappy danish humor. haha. but it was good=) made me happy. and nowwer already talking about when my host fam come visit me in nz. wev got it all planned, thyre gonna cpome next summer. they asked if i cpould 'take them to see the maori people'... yeeh.. sure. made me laugh.

and now wer gonna play wii! we play wii. ahha. family bonding these holidays=) real nice. since i cant go out.

I hate tht stupid cat. Just finished clean cat shit off my bedroom floor. no more trying to bond. I give up trying to like it. ater i finished i went downstairs and there it was. And it fuully knew what it had done. So i kicked it. And Farmor didnt really like that haha. But still that cat shpouldnt be shitig in my room! ui dont in his room! grr. Now my room stinks. thanks. alot.

ok thats the end of my compliants.

Iv drunken so much tea in the last 2 weeks. Cuz iv decided to go 'cold turkey' as my host dad would say, and stop drinking coffee. cuz coffee is baaaad. nah i just think its sad to be addicted to cooffee at 16. And iv run out. and the coffee they buy is pretty terrible. haha. so i dont want to buy more =P proberly the real reason. aahh.anyway.

Uhh last weekend i went to camp. it wa real nice seeing all the other exchange kids in this part of sealand. Cuz it was devided into 5 sections i think. So there were like maybe 50 kids? It was alot of fun thou! On saturday night we got real hungry so we stole a loaf of bread and some oats and a cartan of yougurt and some jam. of course.oh and i took some bread chocolate too haha. yum =) and yeh we talked about stuuff. annd me and Farmor made cookies for me to take=) tat was nice! i will add a photo.. haha. ral pretty! she mixed all the stuff and i rolled and cut. and decorated. team effort. haha

ooh nother fun thing was the strike that was at the school. from what i kow.... it was about that the govenernment.. a dude called haarder i think.. wants to cut the schopol money buiget which means bigger classes and less resauces. Sooo.... strike! it was fun tho cuz big banners were mde and stuff and we went thru næstved and did chants and stuff. i had no idea what i was chanting about haha. But dedocation to the school. im saving danish kids futures! So had some of 3 days with no classes. was pretty sweet. my first protest. haha nice

Uhhh. so i spose to make dinner one night for my fam.. well last thursaday acttally but i forgot to get sruff. buut i have no idea wgat to make.. im leaning towards spagetty on toast. haha. nah i dunno. itl be fun. i atally tryed finding stuff to majke fudge out of. buut i cnt find anywhere that sells cocoa.. iyts so weried... maybe its called something else here or something? but one day ill make it =D

More accidents.

busy busy busy. so much stuff has happened but i dunno what to write.
i fall off my bike. thats proberly the most exciting thing.its funny cuz iv already weritten about falling off my bike in one of my first posts. i can tell this will be a reacuuring theme in my exchange year haha. wish i had some photos... but my memory card doesnt seem to be working? i dunno why. but yeh so i guess you want to hear about it? well. i was biking along. then suddenly BAM! and i was on the curb. with some tooth missiong and my lip and chin grazed up. haahaha and thats all ill elaborate on that=)

Yeh im actally understanding alot more in class now which is kinda fun. Like i can sit there and concentrate really hard and i can pick out words. ahha that sounds pretty sad that i get kicks out of understanding whats going on hahhah. but seriously! try being an exchange student! like when people translate something funny. hahaah or say something formal as. aw its just funny. then ppl wonder why your laughing or smiling at something like *my mother doesnt allow me to whatever* it jus sounds real silly.

mmm just had the best dinner ever! famliy time=)had steak and baked potaotes... very kiwi. i had missed steak. think my iron levels will be crappy from not eating much meat here. man i could never be vegeterian..

oohhh we git a piano from the naghbours. so im gonna learn to play the piano so far iv been playig christmas carols everynight for Farmor and irgner the garderner who just turned 95. Still thriving! Hres a tank. But yeh by the time im fnished here ill be pro at piano. watch out rebecca! hahah.

Yeh. Think it will be fun to read this in a couple of years after my exchange. haha

Hej!

Just went for a sweet swim down at the beach with my host dad! was verrry varm! neeej! det er koldt! meget koldt. its real cool cuz now when i type... i think of the danish words for the words i know. det godt!=Deg er getting better.quite quickly too! men not tghis weekend thou... cuz i hung out with exchange kids yesterday and last night and we didnt speak any danish... haah but it was nice! cuz 2 americans... andy and joe and 2 kiwis... sylvia and dannelle came. and we went to the beach. dont think i was that much fun cuz i was suuuper tired and uhh.. jeg drikke lidt too muchØlehaha. bbut thats allgood they loved it. but yeh the beach was real nice. remnded me alot of nz summer. but we drunk danish øle and ate buns and cheese which is so danish. haha. felt kinda sorry 4 the other guys thou, cuz hadnd showered in the last 2 days... or changed my clothes in the last 3. they love it it thou. embrace it. haha but when i finally came home after no showers or clean clothes and 15 km bike ride in the real hottnees... i was looking pretty tragic. i really like the bike home thou. im fully gonna try do it more! cuz it felt like i was driving. just really slow.. and with pedels.. and alot more effort.. but still almost the same. and i didnt have to catch the stupid bus that costs 28 krone. bulshit. thats proberly the only thing i hate about denmark. the public transport. it sucks! i can catch the train to copenhagen for cheaper then it is to go into rtown and back on the bus. guh! maybe i should be less lazy and just bike. haahah måske. i sung to aqua when i was riding along. it was fun. aqua is danish btw?! i didnt know that! pretty cool i thought. ummm i dunno what to write.. real tired. jeg er meget træt. havnt slept alot this weekend. i miss my water bed! aww man im so excited to go to bed tonight! it has new sheets and everything. funally washed my sheets last wedensday for the first time in denmark.. yeh festy as. pretty proud actally. and i do my own washing and all that. yuh im getting civilised. hahahaha.=) aw man i gotta get up in 7 hours. and i cant miss anyy school cuz im already on 9.36% for the stuff i didnt do .. which i still dont actally get what it is. way too confusing! should be sweet thou. found out today im doing some poresentation at a school on thursday to some 9th graders. its funny cuz i think of them as lil kids...but thyl fully be the same age as me. yeeeh. found my AFS booklet thing that has lots of stuff about culture and stuff that i was spose to read b4 i came... =S not after.. but allgood and anyway.. it has lots of maoori words in it! so im teacjhing my host dad maori. hahaha soo funny cuz i cant speak it ither =P but sshh. i rekon that nz shoud learn moari cuz i feel real dumb cuz everyone else can speak at least 2 languages... but i can ony speak one hahah. soon dansk too thou! yay. ohhh i fully forgot to say i wenbt camping! finally! theres this lil place near where i live that has this cute lil scout camp and iv wanted to camp therte for soo long and finally i got some keen people to come. just the exchange kids thou. cuz danish people are soft. haha but nah det er fun! i love camping-.... vi drikker lidt øle og wodka. hahaha nej nej lidt mere. og spiste meget lollies og junk food. haha yum! made a sweet fire too. in the hut! thats something you cant do in nz. cuz of the fire bans. well .. you cant lit fires on pontoons anyway. super! im tired. im going to my bed. have a super next month or week or until i decide to writre it again. ja! vi ses!

hahha naaw very significant day for me=) ccuuuz exactly 1 month ago i jumped off that plane in copenhagen after a almost 30 hour rejsen(journey i think) haha. and maaaan its gone sooo quickly! they toold us the first month will go soo slow and youl be homesick and misrable as.. but they lie! gone by soo quick! it sucks! thats like a whole 1 11th of my time here gone. aagh! and im making the most of it oviousdly and sitting in my room on the ground cuz the water beds too mission,,, writing in my blog cuz people (lorne) keep hassling me about it. what a mate. but yeeeeh. its a really nice day today too... and likea sub has been put in the back of the flower car so its gangs as now. hahah =D oohhh went for our sunday night swim... on monday cuz we forgot on sunday. it was SO COLD. and it was still summer! well the last day of summer anyway. i think today is the first day of autum. maybe. which meeeans its starting to get colder! part from today which is hot. ja. oohhh jaaa my danish has improved alot i think. like i can sit ther in class now and concentrate real hard and reconise some of the words. loike-... spise and mad and sulten and det and ikke and synes and simple words that iv somehow picked up. likre one da6y i came home from school and was like jeg har glemt min mad, men jeg køber æble i skole og køber brød eftermiddag. which isnt really that right i dont think... but close! i was stoaked! hahaha cuz my hosts understood what i was tryna say=)

oohhhh in the weekend i went up to copenhagen aaaall bymyself and fully got on the riht trains and busses and everything. that was a big acheivement. hahaah. went to Christiana that was pretty sweet! its laxed back as! there was this dude running thru tye villagy thing and then theese people were like dude! stop running! but oviusly in danish... but that what the would have said. ja ja! haha. and yeh that was prety funny. want to go back there sometime. met up with some of the copenhagen exchange kids so that was nice seeing them again and talking bout ... ? stuff! how we all miss hugs. cuz people rnt very huggy in denmark. k,.. biy of a generlisation... but they rnt really! soo lots of hugging and being touristy. haaha ooohhh fully wanted to go see the lil mermaid sobce its like a danish icon and all. kinda like the big carrot and stuff in nz i think. annd well.. it wasnt as life changing as i thought it would be.. but took some sweet pictures anyway. just 4 kicks. then tourist took our photos. im still waiting to be tagged on facebook. theeen cath lots of trains... tryed catching a bus. but then decided to walk after finding out the bus wasnt gonna go for 50 minutes.. but then 5 minutes later it drive right past us. it was rats as. so we missioned it to sebs house andwas way too late to go to the party his sister was having so chilled on the curb with our sommersby for a while. haha our "danish street party" =P yyeh 2 man party. ummm thehn had a sweet sleep. and woke up and left sebs and missioned it back to Næstved again. annd jaaa! was really nice seeing seb and a few of the other exchange kids again. even thou i was keen to thrive and only semi thrived. ummm im actly fibding my way round heaps more now. i can walk alll the way from school into town now without even getting lost. its great! and fully find most of my classes. pretty much dane! hahaaha but stttill no one can understand my english cuz i fully just dont speak properly apparently. so its pretty funny in class. i go to talk to someone and just end up alkijng to myself. haha its great. and i never realised how mch of what i say is actaly slang! thats nz as. haah like as! and keen. and keen as. and festy. cuz in dansh fest means partty.. so it doesnt really make that much sensne when i say like ew man gthats fest as. funny thou. yaaah! went 4 a ride in the flower just then! was pretty sweet. what do i miss? thts what lots of people have been asking me latly. i miss having the freedom of driving. m. water still. hugs. clothes haha. yup thats pretty much it. oohh and you guys. i spose. hahaha. nah yeh but i not misrable about it thou! oooohhh and people understanding what im saying! thaaaats what i miss the most actally. and not, not knowing whats actally happpening any of the time. ja! but i like danish again. we have bit of a love hate relaionshop sometimes. cuz its jus sooo hard when i just want to know whats going on but its a huge effort to translate and stuff. but you get used to it.

oohhhhh ánd if marna or seymoyr ever read this... i hope you still move my table into your line so theres 3 insteada 2. and i hope you still wag every english period o go "sstudy" with me in art. and fudge fridays! im really sorry you guys dpnt vhave fudge anymore.. hahaha. aww tradition! cnt break traditions. yeeep. and thats all i have to say about that. =D

Sunday night again

I hate sunday nights. they r always real boring cuz everyones ither hungover or.. hungover.. or like me were way to uuh tired to go out last night and feel pretty sweet haha. yup its great =P nah today... got woken up bout 10 and forced into a swim cuz cuz i made some deal apprently that id go for a swim every sunday until i go. haahah weeeell a gthe time it seemed time a good idea... when it was 30 degrees. dunno if ill be as enthusiastiic about it in a few months thou.... =P aaaahhh uuummm ok. the last week? cnt even member what iv been up to. breen going to school. pretty av stuff there. cuz cuz i still dont uinderstand anything! its funny thou sometimes the whole class just craks up and im like whhaa...?? oe like today this lady came in to tell about something-... still not too sure what.. she kept on talking like to me and i was like.. yeh cuz i fully understand what your going on about. haha funny as! aaahh its great. cuz then only the really important stuff gets translated to me so dont really have to worry about alot. =) yeeeeh. but the high light of my week was getting my parcel aaaaaall the way from nz. =O with me hat... and scarf... and board and pineapple lumps! yuuum! ja ja! oooohh and catchinbg the teain and the bus aaaaall by myself without getting lost. so stoaked! hahaah had the meanest sleep on friday nighht. on a sweeet deck. with a sleeping bag that i was way too lazy zipping up. aaahhh it was great. i love having only 2 hours of sleep. cyz sooomeone... yeh you know who you are.. stole my bed. yuh. cuz i hada wake up at like 7 to catch hte train to go to germany. kinda cool that you can DRIVE to another country.. BAM suddenly your in germany! like BAM! your in australia. but no you cant do that. theeeen we drove home. from germany. and BAM wer back in denmark. it waws pretty trippy.

haahha my host dad found me a boxing bag in the garage. him and pare tryed to teach me thai boxoing which was pretty funny. definitly wouldnt want to vs me in a bxing match=D haha uuhhhh. still waiting 4 thses updates ay?

I cant memIts ber the date .. but its about to be my 3rd week inn DK this week! wow. And someone(lorne) mentioned id gotten lazy writing my blog. haha not lazy! just... busy... maybe.. weeeell iv started schoool. Its pretty sweet! get lost pretty much every couple of hours. haa its great=) Its really cool cuz its in one big building and the libary has glass walls! Trippy as! and theres fuse ball games and couches and and a canteen that dobt have bars on the door and and chairs that have wheels and can spin! that entertained me for one whole lession. which are i think 1hour and 40minutes=O but you get breaks and sometimes the teacher doesnt come so you get a free period to do whatever you want. its pretty sweet. so far iv had ummm 5 lessions in the 3 days i was there haha meean! but the only down buzz about school is .... the language. fully dont understand aannything about whats going on. but then thats the same everywhere though haha. dont even bother pretending i know whats going on anymore! haha here in denmark its ok for lary to be looking lost. Cuz she proberly is! ohhh on my first day of school i was spose to bike home... biut it started pouring down with rain and so i forgot where i was and ended up somewheree ? so i hada call my host dad,... haha. theeen on 2nd day i DID bike home! webt the wrong way at first so hada turn around... but i haad a list of directions bwt which way to turn at roundabouts and stuff. it took me over 1 hour o bike home hahahaah. in the rain! HAHa. then on friday me and Pare took the train to Jutland. omg. i hate trains. they suck. we were spose to get there at 6.... we got there at 11. cuz the stupid train broke on us and so we hada take a bus which went to the south of jutland and then takr another train to the north of jutland. MISSION. There we visited Pares friend and went to this Thai summer festival. It was prettty crakup haha. I played this funny as Thai game thats like hacky sack... and volly ball kinda combinded ? im pretty much pro haha. and there was lots of games. All the old Thai people... k well everyone over like 30 got smashed and danced tragicly to Thai music haha. I ate lots of crazy thai food. LOTS. aaannd yeh. pretty sweet. u,m um um now..? me and my host dad go for runs in the morning... haah k well i run. he bikes cuz hes too lazy. hahaah. or we run our 2 km to the tree. which we did once. I have lots of homewoork already... but im having a lil trouble understanding whats ít is... or for which subject.. haha but i am learning danish! uhh... jeg va gerne have fem øle. hha sweeeet. BUUT its funny! I know appriate the easy as life i had in NZ! like i could understand the lanuage, knew my way around, knew where i lived haha, knew pretty much everyone in rotorua, had more than 20kgs of clothes, some pretty sweet mates, didnt have to get translations for everything, or bike home from school, lots of "2nd homes" likes lornes and seymours hhaa, just rolling up to marana for gutar hero even when shes not home, thriving at the afterballs hahaha, a CAR! umm yeh lots! it was great! but but but im loving denmark 2 thogh cuz i dont have all that old stuff! new stuff now! its great"! haha. uuhhh. my room best be like a shrine mother. and im expecting updates to you know... this is a lot of effort doing this!

goodbye children. ill write more next time. promise! i wana go get me some water and juice stuff that i fully dont even know what it is cuz its in danish... aahah thats also really funny herre! most of the time i fully just have no idea what im eating... haha like the brown spread i had been eating for the past like 2 weeks turns out to be LIVER! whaaaaat! and no one bothers to tell me? sweet then. and its not apple juice... its appelinjuice which is orange juice! no wonder danish apple juice tastes funny. haha. chaahah aaahh i got out my marmite... spread it on the bread and peple wreer like... what are you doing! shocked as! HAHA i was like mmmm its delicious! danish people have bad taste. prefering liver to marmite. egh. haah hej hej!

My bike mission.

Well it all started as just an ordinary danish saturday. Or something like that. And i decided that id go 4 a lil bike thru the countryside. But i couldnt figure out the way we went the other time cuz i wanted to find the track i like. So i just kept on biking. Was going pretty sweet. Until i ended up in some randum as town that i had no idea where i was. So i was like hmmmmmm. Maybe i should read some signs. So i did. And i followed the ones that said Menstrup on them. For about 5 km, then i found the church again! and i was like yay! but i stioll wanted to find the track thru the weat. so i headed off down a different road. all was going pretty sweet cuz it was mostly downhill. And then i found a lil track that went off into the feilds and i was like SCORE i found it!! Feeling pretty staoked with myself. So i did sdome sweet off roading for bwt 10 minutes then suddendly BAM i hit something big and i go flying off y bike. i look round and make sure no one saw. hahaha. even thu im iin the middle f no where. like no houses or anything. and so i jump bak on. and BAM the pedles r going crazy!! Cuz the chain had come off"!! so i was like uuhh ok then. sweet as. im a kiwi i can fix it. turns out i couldnt. So i end up pushing my bike for bwt an hour thru the middle of no where in 32 degrees. in jeans. Feelling pretty misrable. THen fiiinally i see the church again! and a house with music. with the garage open! and a dude is siting in there. so i go CHUR! BRO! FIX MY BIKE! and he goes blu balgs ahyuhk (danish stuff) and i go nah nah! My bike! And he clicks im not danish and he fixes my bike! and i ride back really happy. with a tan=) and i o home and have a sleep =D
